Q2 2025: Top Maps & Navigation Apps in Romania on Android

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top Maps and Navigation applications on the Android platform in Romania revealed interesting trends. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the weekly revenue, downloads, and active users for the leading apps in this category.

TomTom GO Navigation saw a fluctuating revenue trajectory, peaking at approximately $2.5K in early June. Downloads initially rose to 515 in late April but decreased to 204 by the end of June. Active users peaked at 1.2K in mid-May before declining to around 600.

Navionics® Boating experienced a steady increase in revenue, reaching $1.5K by the end of the quarter. Downloads showed a gradual rise, ending at 91 weekly downloads. Active users mirrored this growth, increasing from 54 to 115.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector had a varied revenue pattern, closing the quarter with $1K. Downloads peaked at 2.4K in early April but saw a decline to 1.4K by June's end. Active users fluctuated but remained strong at 3.7K by the quarter's conclusion.

Circuit Route Planner experienced stable revenue, peaking at $1.1K in mid-April. Downloads showed an initial spike to 441, settling at 294 by quarter's end. Active users increased from 512 to 621 over the quarter.

Finally, Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps saw a significant revenue increase, ending the quarter at $1.3K. Downloads remained steady, closing at 422, while active users increased from 1.2K to 1.3K.
